Corey Taylor Still On The Fence About New Slipknot Album

07/13/2011
.
(Rock News Desk) Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor says he's still undecided over whether to make a new album with the band. They've just completed a festival tour of Europe, their first live shows since the tragic death of bassist Paul Gray in May last year.

Taylor had said beforehand he'd make up his mind once he knew how it felt to front the band without his colleague, who was credited with being the driving force behind their power and creativity.

Now the singer says: "I feel better about it. The whole tour has been great. I enjoyed the show at Sonisphere in the UK thank you to everyone who came, and everyone who participated in the two-minute silence for Paulie. He would have been so proud.

"But I'm still kind of on the fence. We're taking baby steps and we're going to take our time." more on this story
