Primal Scream Too Loud For Music Festival

(Gibson) Primal Scream had to turn down the volume at last weekend's T in the Park festival in Scotland. The band, playing the festival's King Tut's Wah Wah tent, were asked by organizers to lower their decibels.

According to the Daily Record, a spokeswoman for DF Concerts said: "We have people in place to monitor sound levels and Primal Scream's sound engineer was told more than once to turn down the levels onstage. Eventually he was made to turn it down."

Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie said: "We just came to do our thing. We are not in competition with any of the bands. We're happy to play anywhere they want us..." more on this story
