(Gibson) Remember the days when MTV, as in "Music Television," used to be about, well, music? Thankfully, VH1 Classic is still in the music game, and the network kicks off season eight of That Metal Show in Los Angeles on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Members from some of the most celebrated heavy metal acts are booked to be part of the roundtable chats this season: Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater, Adrenaline Mob), Doug Pinnick (King's X), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen, Chickenfoot) and Phil Collen (Def Leppard), to name some.

Rock will get proper representation, to boot, with upcoming guests Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. more on this story
