Blur's Damon Albarn Recording New Album in Africa

(Gibson) Damon Albarn, of Gorillaz and Blur fame, will record a new album in Africa.

According to NME.com, Albarn will write and record in the Democratic Republic of Congo with a group of producers and artists intending to record an album in a week.

Also on the trip are: Kwes, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, producer Dan the Automator, hip-hop producer Jneiro Jarel, XL Recordings boss Richard Russell, Actress, Marc Antoine and Jo Gunton. more on this story
