Michael Jackson's Thriller Jacket Hitting The Block

(Gibson) The iconic black and red leather jacket the late Michael Jackson wore for his classic "Thriller" video in 1983 is up for auction.

The Daily Express reports that the outfit designed by Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush is part of the Julien's Auctions Music Icons sale in Beverly Hills on June 25 and 26.

The jacket is expected to bring in over $200,000 and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Shambala Preserve, where Jackson's two Bengal tigers have lived since the Neverland Ranch closed in 2006. more on this story
