. With total sales in excess of 102,000, the album is also #1 on both the "Top Alternative Albums" and "Top Digital Albums" charts (with downloads comprising 57% of the first-week sales). DCFC has spent much of the past month on a sold-out tour of intimate venues, a trek that concludes tomorrow night at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The show will be taped for broadcast on both MTV.com and VH1.com, with an airdate currently slated for next week. Next up, Death Cab for Cutie will head to Europe for a series of headline dates and festival appearances. Upon their return, the band will embark on a much-anticipated summer headline tour, set to begin July 27th at Columbus, Ohio's LC Outdoor Amphitheater (see attached itinerary) and then continuing through late August. All dates will see DCFC joined by very special guests Frightened Rabbit as support. Furthermore, Death Cab for Cutie will also be among the top acts appearing at a number of upcoming festivals, including Ottawa's Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest on July 17th, Montreal's Osheaga Festival on July 31st, and Sunrise, Florida's Langerado Music Festival on the weekend of October 8th and 9th. And as if that weren't enough, the band is also set for a major hometown headline show at Seattle's Key Arena at Seattle Center on October 22nd. JUNE
