MonstrO Set Release of New Alice in Chains Produced Album
. The Atlanta, Georgia-headquartered psychedelic hard rock band recorded MonstrO in just 14 days with Alice in Chains vocalist William DuVall in the producer's seat. "We didn't waste a moment (in the studio), and it worked like a band is supposed to work," said bassist Kyle Sanders. "The album gets spacey, dreamy, and tripped-out, and then it gets straight-up heavy. I want it to be some kind of escape for people and for them to walk away from it happy and feeling completed in some way." Formed in 2009, MonstrO is guitarist Juan Montoya [ex-Torche], bassist Kyle Sanders [ex-Bloodsimple], drummer Bevan Davies [ex-Bloodsimple, Danzig], and vocalist and guitarist Charlie Suarez.
