Dangerbird Records are planning fall releases from their newest signees Ben Lee and Butch Walker.

With parallel careers that have seen them rise through the ranks of the music industry to become critically-acclaimed favorites, Lee and Walker are now currently preparing separate releases that are each expected to be released in fall 2011 on Dangerbird Records.

"Neither Ben nor Butch needs an introduction - their individual track records in the music business speak for themselves," said Jeff Castelaz, CEO and Co-Founder of Dangerbird. "Besides being a big fan the music they both make, they are great to work with and each brings something unique and valuable to the Dangerbird family."

Ben Lee is an award-winning musician who began his career at the age of 14 with the Sydney, Australia band Noise Addict. After releasing that group's material on the Beastie Boys' Grand Royal imprint, Lee pursued a solo career that has included seven solo studio albums to date. The breakout success of 1999's Breathing Tornados paved the way for 2005's Awake Is the New Sleep, which went double platinum in Australia and won Lee that year's Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) awards for Best Male Artist, Best Independent Release, and Single of the Year ("Catch My Disease"). While he continues to tour and record, Lee recently began a stint as leader of the house band for Three Minute Talk Show with Barry Sobel, an online feature produced by Tom Hanks that debuted in January 2011 at www.lstudio.com. Lee is also the subject of a forthcoming feature documentary, Catch My Disease, set to premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival 2011. For updated information, visit www.ben-lee.com.

Singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Butch Walker started out as a member of acclaimed band The Marvelous 3 and has since embarked on a solo career, with equal successes as both artist and producer. In addition to five studio albums released since 2002, he was named Producer of the Year by Rolling Stone in 2005. Many of his songs have been hits for other artists, including Weezer's #1 Modern Rock smash "If You're Wondering if I Want You To...(I Want You To)," as well as Pink, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, and many others. In 2010, he accompanied Taylor Swift for her live duet with Stevie Nicks at that year's televised Grammy Awards, and also released his latest artist record, I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart, under the name Butch Walker & the Black Widows.
