New Luke Mitchem Album and Tour

Luke Mitchem is hitting the road in support of his recently released third album, "Love, Laura, and the Bomb," which he is currently offering as a free download.

"Love, Laura and the Bomb" is quite an accomplishment for Mr. Mitchem. It wasn't until three years ago that he picked up his guitar, started playing and writing the songs that would complete his first album, "It Won't Last Forever". Now, Mr. Mitchem is ready to take "Love, Laura and the Bomb" on the road and will visit various cities with the first leg at the Jammin Java on May 25th in Vienna, VA. The tour will also take him to venues throughout Tennessee, Missouri and Colorado to name a few.

Mr. Mitchem's love for music was inspired by his parents whose own musical tastes varied from Bruce Springsteen to Jim Croce. As Mr. Mitchem grew, his own tastes preferred the likes of Counting Crows, Live, Damien Rice, Shawn Mullins and even Ryan Adams who fronted Whiskeytown. The influence of Johnny Cash, Mitchem's music also reflects a combination of folk, blues, country and gospel.

"Love, Laura and the Bomb" includes the following tracks: …love...; Jill Andrews; Under the World; Here and There; Point my Compass Back; An Angel's Anchor Awaits; Annabella and the Golden Lie; …Laura…; Pretty Girl from Annapolis; Smile; Old Man on the Front Porch Swinging; Weeping Willow Tree; A Fire Still Burns' and …and the Bomb…. For a limited time, the entire album is available for a free download. Simply go here and click on Free Download link.
