Kill Bono The Movie
. Released on April 1, the film is based on music journalist Neil McCormick's memoirs of the same name. He explains: "Back in the 1980s I counted all my chickens before they hatched and none of them actually hatched, I messed a lot of things up. We made a lot of mistakes and I was driven by the kind of ambition that leads to mistakes." The movie depicts those mistakes as refusing Bono's help and placing all of his faith in music executives. Another mistake depicted in the film shows Neil keeping his brother Ivan from joining U2 because he believed that their own band would go on to be bigger. more on this story RockAAA.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock. |
