Foo Fighters Documentary Coming to DVD and Blu-ray

(Gibson) Earlier this month the Foo Fighters debuted their new documentary, Back and Forth, in movie theaters and on VH1, VH1 Classic and Paladia. Now that same career-spanning movie (with extra footage) will be released on DVD and online.

Back and Forth, directed by Academy Award-winning director James Moll, will hit iTunes on June 7 and DVD and Blu-ray on June 14, according to a press release. The film will include 35 minutes of bonus footage and deleted scenes.

The film follows Dave Grohl and company from the breakup of Nirvana through the early stages of Foo Fighters to the sessions for the band's new album, Wasting Light. Speaking of Wasting Light, the album went to #1 in 12 different countries, according to ClashMusic.com. The band also were recently announced as one of the headliners of this year's Lollapalooza in Chicago.
