The Cure To Play First 3 Albums Live for DVD Release

(Gibson) The Cure have been announced as the headliners of this year's Vivid Live festival, which is happening May 27 through June 6 at the Sydney Opera House in Australia. To make the event extra-special, Robert Smith and friends have revealed that they will perform their first three albums in their entirety at the festival.

Those albums include 1979's Three Imaginary Boys, 1980's Seventeen Seconds and 1981's Faith. It's the first time the band and, according to them, it'll be the only time.

The Cure's lineup will include present and past members for the shows, which will take place May 31 and June 1. If you can't make it down under in time, you'll be able to check out the concerts on a future DVD release. more on this story
