Elton's Candle In The Wind Turned Into Bastard In The Sand For Bin Laden

(hennemusic) You never know what you're going to get when Martin Short appears on David Letterman's show, and that's absolutely a good thing. Tuesday night, Short was on The Late Show to promote some upcoming concerts and, as always, he had a performance ready to go.

Inspired by the recent news regarding the demise of Osama Bin Laden, Short took a page from the Elton John songbook "Candle In The Wind" and turned it into a song about the al-Queda leader.

Appearing alongside singers dressed as Navy SEALS, "Bastard In The Sand" lampoons the international villain, including the chorus: "It seems to me you lived your life like a bastard in the sand. Never knowing when the U.S. Navy SEALS would land." Check it out here
