(hennemusic) Nickelback are having some fun with a petition by some Detroit Lions fans to have them replaced as the halftime entertainment for this Thursday's Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers.
More than 55,000 fans have signed the online petition. Now, Nickelback have filmed a skit about the Detroit situation. The video, on humor site Funny or Die, finds the band meeting with comedian Paul Scheer ("The League") as a music executive trying to help the band find a solution to the problem.
"Let's give Motor City that Motown sound they love," Scheer offers the rockers. "You're no longer Nickelback - now you're the Four Nickels. We'll put you guys in matching suits. You'll do synchronized dancing." Check it out here
