. Joss Stone Murder Plot Arrests was a top 11 story of 2011 for June. Here is the recap: (Gibson) Police in southwest England have arrested two men on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and murder near the home of U.K. singer Joss Stone.

Police were alerted by suspicious locals and arrested the pair in the town of Cullompton on Monday morning. The men, aged 30 and 33, were initially held for possessing an offensive weapon and being equipped for burglary and theft. The BBC today reported the men also had "a bodybag" in their possession.

"As a result of enquiries the two men are now being detained for the further offences of conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to murder," a police statement said. - more on this story
