Daryl Wright Wildy Inappopriate Tomorrow
. Eardrum Records was founded by comedian George Carlin in 1986 and is currently run by Jerold Hamza, Carlin's long time manager of more than three decades. Wright is the first and only other artist besides Carlin to be signed to Eardrum Records since its formation. Hamza said, "Having been partners with George for more than 35 years, I was no hurry to work with another comedian. But then Daryl was brought to my attention by my now partner, Rocco Urbisci, producer/director of George's last 10 HBO specials and found that Daryl had a very special and unique comedic voice. Raised in the streets of Washington, DC and being a former felon gives Daryl that wonderful "edge" to his stand-up."
