. Last weekend, the VT/Metallica connection went a step further: the band recorded a rally video to help jump-start the pre-game festivities, and it works like a charm. The video appeared on the team's scoreboard before this past Saturday's Virginia Tech Hokies football game against Wake Forest. "Hey, Hokie Nation, time to kick some butt. This is Metallica. Start jumping," frontman James Hetfield can be heard yelling in the clip before the distinctive guitar riffs of "Enter Sandman" begin.
