More Coheed and Comics for Claudio Sanchez
Here are the details we were sent: Writers Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert (Kill Audio) bring a deadly new vision of New York City in Key Of Z. The zombie apocalypse has transformed the city into two separate battle-hardened fiefdoms. Nick Ewing is left to survive while seeking revenge on those responsible for the death of his family – the warring gangs residing in The Big Apple's most illustrious athletic houses. Ewing stumbles upon a sentimental artifact from his past that imbues him with surprising power. Find out what happens when he discovers the Key Of Z.
Key Of Z #1 features cover art by Nathan Fox (Florescent Black), stunning interior art by Aaron Kuder (The Amory Wars) and a special incentive cover by Tony Moore (The Walking Dead).
This past weekend, the NYCC-exclusive cover by Declan Shalvey (28 Days Later, Thunderbolts) debuted as a highly-sought after show exclusive.
Coheed and Cambria's new song "Deranged" was released this week as part of the Collector's Edition of Batman: Arkham City and is also featured on the video game's soundtrack. Sanchez was a member of New York Comic Con's Batman: Arkham City panel with Kevin Conroy (voice of Batman) and developers of the game, Rocksteady Studios' Sefton Hill and Nick Arundel. Evil Ink Comics also had a booth at the renowned event, where Sanchez signed copies of KEY OF Z to long lines all weekend.
Key Of Z #1 is now available in comic shops across the country, online at www.everythingevilink.com and digitally through the Comics by comiXology platform — iOS, Android and the Web, making Sanchez's comic book accessible to fans around the world. It is published by BOOM! Studios in association with Sanchez's comic company, Evil Ink.
