Internet star for all the wrong reasons, Rebecca Black will release her third single next month along with a video for the track.
Here is the official word: It was just about this time last year that Rebecca Black embarked on the journey that would make her one of the best known new artists of 2011. It was in the fall of 2010 that Rebecca would contemplate recording what would become "Friday." Soon after, a music video for the track was filmed and uploaded on YouTube and the result made Rebecca an instant international star and turned the Black family's lives upside down.
A year later, Ms. Black is preparing her third single, "Person of Interest," a danceable, upbeat track that's sure to be a hit with music fans all over the world. Like Rebecca's highly successful second single "My Moment," which has racked up nearly 30 million views on YouTube since its release in mid-July.
"Person of Interest" was produced by Charlton Pettus and is set for release in November. The 14 year-old star is shooting a video for the track this week in her native Southern California.
