(BM) Experience Hendrix/Sony Legacy released The Jimi Hendrix Experience Winterland, the 4 CD box set that chronicled a three day, six show stand at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom in October of 1968.

The have now released a video based on the performance of Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" that on the set. Check it out here

On the day of Winterland's release, Bootsy Collins and Experience Hendrix CEO Janie Hendrix visited San Francisco where the City and County Board of Supervisors had proclaimed September 13 Jimi Hendrix Experience Winterland Day. At the celebration that evening at Amoeba Music, Bootsy debuted the video for "Mirrors Tell Lies," a track from his current The Funk Capital of the World album that includes snippets of Jimi Hendrix's actual speaking voice, a reflection, so to speak of the fact that Bootsy was the the voice actor who covered Jimi's lines in the recent Voodoo Child documentary.

The crowd at Amoeba was hugely impressed and showered Bootsy with kudos for his efforts. Check it out right here
