David Bryne and St. Vincent's Annie Clark Team Up (A Top Story)

.
On Tuesday David Bryne and St. Vincent's Annie Clark Team Up was a top story. Here is the recap: (Gibson) Talking Heads' David Bryne and St. Vincent's Annie Clark have completed a collaboration album that they plan to take on the road in the fall.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Clark professes her admiration for her collaborator ("David Byrne is the coolest person on the planet") and says the album is inspired by the Dirty Projectors and Björk's Mount Wittenberg Orca album.

In fact, it was a charity show featuring both Björk and Dirty Projectors three years ago that led to the invitation for Byrne and Clark to embark on the project. They descended on a New York City studio and magic happened. "We just started writing and kept writing and writing," Clark says. "It just evolved to become this much bigger thing." - more on this story
