Hollyscoop spoke with source close to the Latin pop star who confirmed that he is still among the choices for a new talent judge on the show. "We can confirm they are discussing," the source said. "Yes, Idol has expressed a lot of interest but no final word on either side yet."

On the verge of confirmation as a new judge is New York City rapper Nicki Minaj, who some sources are reporting has already singed a deal with FOX.

But, due to new rumors that "Idol" might be adding a fourth judge to its 13th season, even if Nicki is an official choice, it doesn't mean that she is the only choice. - more on this story
