Deep Purple Set New Album Release But Title Still In Question

(hennemusic) Deep Purple will release their 19th studio album on April 30, 2013 [in the U.S., April 26th outside the U.S.] but the title is still unknown, even to the group.

After various songwriting sessions in Europe, the band recorded and mixed the project in Nashville with producer Bob Ezrin.

The group's first album since 2005's "Rapture Of The Deep" is rumored to be the perfect match from the original spirit of 70s Purple and a fresh and modern production. "The title of our new album is still a question mark to all of us," says singer Ian Gillan. "We have recorded a new album, and it's a fantastic collection of songs.
