(popmusiclife) Adele's "21" is still tops in the U.S. The singer holds on to the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the 18th week, selling nearly 116,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

MTV reports "21" has now tied Garth Brooks' "Ropin' the Wind" for 18 non-consecutive weeks at #1.

She needs just three more weeks atop the chart to move past the "Bodyguard" soundtrack and Elvis Presley's "Blue Hawaii," both of which notched 20 weeks at #1. more on this story
