Sarah Darling Takes On Beatles Blackbird
. As heard in heavy rotation on SiriusXM's The Highway, Darling made the song her own with the help of legendary producer, and lead guitar player on the track, Dann Huff. Proceeds from the charity-based compilation album, "Let Us In" Nashville - A Tribute To Linda McCartney, released in Nov. 2011 on Reviver Music, are benefiting The Women and Cancer Fund, a not-for-profit charity established in the memory of Linda McCartney. When asked about Darling being the first artist on board the "Let Us In" campaign, CEO of Reviver Music, David Ross shared, "Sarah Darling was the first artist I approached and asked to be part of the "Let Us In" Nashville campaign back in the fall of 2010. Her version of "Blackbird" is beautiful. It is now being heard across the world and is exposing a whole new generation to a classic song."
