Today's Music Is Rubbish According to Britpop Mogul

(Gibson) The record company man who played a key role in the Britpop movement of the '90s has spoken out about the resurgence of '90s bands like The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays.

According to The Sun, Alan McGee, who signed Oasis to his hugely influential Creation Records contemporary music is "rubbish."

McGee said: "The only reason Britpop is back is because all modern music is rubbish. I've lost all interest in it. It is amazing that The Stone Roses are coming back. They are right up there � one of the greatest bands of all time." more on this story
