Fans Pick David Bowie's Best Song

(Gibson) To mark David Bowie becoming eligible for a state pension in England (he turned 65 on January 8), the Digital Spy website in the U.K. ran a poll of Bowie's most-loved songs.

The winner was "Life on Mars?" from his 1971 album Hunky Dory, picking up 21.4% of the votes. The top 5:

1. "Life on Mars?" (21.4%) 2. "Heroes" (12.5%) 3. "Ashes to Ashes" (7.3%) 4. "Let's Dance" (6.1%) 5. "Starman" (5.9%) more on this story
