(popmusiclife) It's not official � yet - but word has it that Kelly Clarkson will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis on February 5.

The Associated Press broke the news Wednesday when a source "familiar with Super Bowl entertainment plans" shared the information with the news outlet.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because no announcement has been made as of yet; the NFL is expected to reveal the anthem singer later this month. more on this story
