(Classic Rock) Roger Waters' The Wall world tour is the highest-grossing travelling show of the year, say monitors Boxscore Billboard.

Originally bills as the last big trek of the former Pink Floyd mainman's career, it made $131.4million in the six months up to May 31, 2012 nearly double the take of number-two attraction, the Michael Jackson Immortal Tour. Bruce Springsteen took $52.4m over the same period while Van Halen brought in $38.6m and Pearl Jam drew $25.4m.

Waters' London concert in May saw surviving Floyd members David GIlmour and Nick Mason make guest appearances to an ecstatic response from the audience.
