Skunk Anansie Accuses Muse Of Trendy Dubstepping

(Classic Rock) Skunk Anansie have shouted down Muse's recent claim that dubstep is the new rock'n'roll, and accused them of jumping on a trendy bandwagon.

Prog-pop frontman Matt Bellamy last week said: "The moshpit has moved the guitars and gone towards the laptop" as he explained why two tracks on upcoming Muse album The 2nd Law were dubstep compositions.

But Skunk Anansie guitarist Ace tells Gigwise: "It's not the new rock'n'roll, because rock'n'roll is the new rock'n'roll. Dance and dubstep are two different art forms. They jump on the art form to be trendy."
