Motown Musical To Feature Michael Jackson, Temptations, Supremes, Marvin Gaye and More

(Gibson) Motown: The Musical is set to reach Broadway. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the autobiographical show, penned by Motown founder Berry Gordy, will tell the tale of the rise of the Motown reign, staring from its humble origin as Tamla records in 1959.

Of course, the musical will pack all those classic Motown hits, including songs recorded by Diana Ross and the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, the Jackson Five and more.

"Broadway is the pinnacle of live theater and provides a challenging and exciting opportunity to tell my story and share the magic of Motown," Gordy said. more on this story
