(CBS Local) Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus says the trio is currently on the brink of writing the band's next full-length, tentatively scheduled for release sometime in 2013.
"Early next week I go back to Los Angeles to record an iTunes session for Blink-182, and we're starting to write the new record right now," Hoppus told NME in a recent interview. "We're going to tour Australia in February with Blink
[so the] proper tour and the new album probably won't happen for about a year."
Hoppus went on to explain that despite a couple of stand-out artists, 2012 is decidedly lacking in quality rock songs. more on this story
