MTV Cancel Buckwild A Week After Cast Member Dies

MTV has reportedly abruptly canceled the controversial reality show "Buckwild" mid-season just a week after a cast member was found dead in his car.

TMZ reports that an unnamed source "connected to the show" told them that MTV halted production of the show in the middle of the second season and did not give the cast or crew a specific reason for the decision, but the network is expect to make an official announcement today.

Last week cast member Shain Gandee and two other men were found dead in Gandee's Ford Brocho. It appears that the vehicle got stuck in mud and the three men died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Gandee wasn't the only blow to the show's cast. Two other cast members were recently been arrested; Salwa Amin for drug possession and Michael Burford for DUI, according to TMZ.
