Glen Campbell Retiring From Touring Due To Alzheimer's

(Radio.com) Glen Campbell will tour no more. After the legendary singer and guitarist announced he had Alzheimer's disease a couple years ago, he chose to spend much of 2012 on an ambitious farewell tour, enjoying one last experience of playing live and interacting with fans.

And he was surprisingly energetic throughout those shows, talking with the audience, singing well and digging into some awesome guitar solos.

This year, though, the disease has progressed to the point that he can no longer tour. Campbell, however, will release a new album this summer. Titled See You There, it features new recordings of some of his biggest hits. more on this story
