.
(Radio.com) Jay Z, currently supporting his recent album, Magna Carta Holy Grail with the "Magna Carter Tour," has added a tribute to the late South African hero Nelson Mandela to recent shows.

The tribute comes during the performance of "Forever Young," the fourth single from 2009 full-length The Blueprint 3 that samples the 1984 Alphaville song also called "Forever Young."

Images of Mandela flash on big screens flanking the stage as the song begins in concert, with the rapper talking about his respect for the leader and encouraging fans to use Mandela as an example and follow their dreams.

Jay Z has made the dedication at shows in Los Angeles, and San Diego. There is no indication yet if the Mandela tribute will become a permanent part of the "Magna Carter" tour going forward. more on this story
