Sam Smith Readies Full Length Debut for Next Summer
. Best known for providing the rich, soulful vocals on "Latch," the breakout single by GRAMMY-nominated U.K. house duo, Disclosure, Smith has recently signed with Capitol Records to release his debut full-length album during the summer months of next year. In the meantime, his previously issued four-song Nirvana EP (which includes an acoustic version of "Latch") will get an American release when it hits retailers on February 18th of next year. "2014 is looking so exciting to me. To be given an opportunity to release music, let alone in the U.S., is truly amazing," Smith said in a press release. "I've listened to and been inspired by American artists my whole life and once you add the iconic Capitol Records into the equation, this situation couldn't be more perfect.
