John Mayer Makes Return To The Stage Following Vocal Problems
. According to Rolling Stone, Mayer told the crowd at the event "The sound of my voice sounded like my body was a radio dial and someone had knocked it and it was half-off the station. I went to see the doctor about a couple of weeks ago and he looked at my throat, and I think it's gone." Mayer told The Bozeman Daily Chronicle that his voice is slowly returning to its previous range: "It's like my cast isn't off, but my bone is healed. "It lets up very slowly, every couple of weeks there's another note. If I play along with my guitar, nothing sounds out of place." Now it remains to be seen whether Mayer will go back out on tour with Born and Raised, or wait until he has a new album to support. According to what he told The Bozeman Daily Chronicle it seems as if it's the former option: "The record still holds up for me as something I want to play through for people. I love it. It speaks to who I am and there's still what I want to experience. I've still yet to have some of these three minute and 30 second songs open up on stage." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
