Mariah Carey Hospitalized After Video Shoot Injury
. The singer's spokesperson told Page Six on Monday, "Mariah was injured while filming a video for the remix of #Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon. "She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home." The accident happened at Avenue and Artichoke Pizza in Chelsea, according to MTV. Page Six reports that she needed "special surgery" to reset her shoulder and they cite a source that suggested that the fall may have been caused by Carey's high heels. Despite the injury, Carey is still expected to perform at a free Major League Baseball Hurricane Sandy Relief event at Central Park's Great Lawn on July 13th. Read the Page Six report here.
