Avenged Sevenfold Release New Song
. "Hail To The King" appears to deliver on the promise singer M. Shadows made about channeling a classic metal sound. "I look around now and I see a lot of heavy rock bands and metal bands getting into dubstep and electronics and incorporating this new fashionable sh*t into their sound," M. Shadows told Kerrang! last November (via the band's website). "That's not us. We're not interested in that. If anything, we're going almost in the opposite direction by going even more old school. I mean, we're going way back on this, to an album Black Sabbath-esque bluesy type thing, with some of the heaviest sounds we've ever made." Hail To The King is the the first A7X album to feature Arin Ilegay. The band's former drummer and founding member, James "The Rev" Sullivan, passed away in 2009. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
