Miley Cyrus Films Documentary and Releases Extended Video
. The hour-long doc will be produced by MTV's News and Docs team, and comes as interest in the pop star is at an all-time high. Cyrus' most recent single, "We Can't Stop," is currently No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and recently broke VEVO's record as the clip to reach 100 million views the fastest. The racy Diane Martel-produced video generated almost 11 million views in just the first 24 hours of release, topping the previous record-holder for most views in one day, Justin Bieber. "It's just gonna sound like her and her influences, but it's not that hip-hop heavy," Pharrell told MTV when asked what fans can expect from the full-length album, due later this year. "That's not what she does, that's not where she comes from. It's a part of what she loves, which is a very big difference. I would expect that there would be elements of the things that she's into, but nothing rules her." As if those 100 million views of her "We Can't Stop" video weren't enough, Cyrus has just released an extended director's cut of the clip. The updated version comes with additional performance footage added to the controversial music video, which has generated much conversation for its sexually-charged imagery and lyrics that celebrate illicit drug use.
