Gloriana Hit New Milestone With (Kissed You) Good Night
. And now just this week, "(Kissed You) Good Night" from the band's second studio album, A Thousand Miles Left Behind was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A.), for selling a million copies. Radio.com talked with Gloriana last year about the song, which Tom Gossin wrote with Josh Kear. "We were talking about when life parallels movie moments," Tom said of their initial inspiration. "When something happening seems too good to be real almost, or too perfect a moment." Gossin went on to explain how the idea for the song came together after he overheard a girl talking to her friends about her first date with a new guy. "Her friends were asking if the guy kissed her at the end of the date, and she said, 'No and that ruined the whole night,'" he recalled. "I was thinking back to my own life when I was dating. How hard that was as the guy to make that move for the first kiss. I think this song is set in that setting of a first date and about having a first kiss." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
