Snoop Lion And Miley Cyrus Team Up For Ashtrays And Heartbreaks
. The track, a salute to those who aren't with us anymore, is at once a morose and reggae-centric look for Snoop Lion. Cyrus is pushed to a featured role in the video, matching her credit on the song, to be seen only in reflection and behind windows but never in the forefront of the action. Snoop is also often set in reflection, save a few slow-motion shots of him exhaling smoke on a black background. "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks" appears to be set in Compton and has that certain Instagram-ish filter that could easily be called Retro. Cyrus and Snoop are in matching white, but stand in stark opposition to each other in every other way down to her inability to keep that famous "Smiley" face from popping up (causing her to look a little too happy to be singing on such a chill song).
