(Classic Rock) Black Star Riders have been added to the bill for this year's Download festival on the main stage on June 15, replacing another band that pulled out.

The Thin Lizzy offshoot, fronted by Ricky Warwick, are also celebrating their debut album All Hell Breaks Loose reaching number 25 in the UK charts.

Warwick says: "Download is one of my favourite festivals and to be added to the main stage bill for this year with such a fantastic lineup to say we are ecstatic is an understatement.

"It's going to be a great day. Thanks to all the support from everyone that's contributed to our success to date." more on this story
