Carrie Underwood Wins Big At CMT Awards

(Radio.com) Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" was named Video of the Year during the 2013 CMT Music Awards, which were held on Wednesday night (June 5) in Nashville.

The dramatic video, which deals with the topics of alcoholism and domestic violence and also references The Wizard of Oz, premiered last summer. It was directed by Randee St. Nicholas. The song "Blown Away" was written by Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear

Additional awards went to Miranda Lambert for her video "Mama's Broken Heart," her husband Blake Shelton for his video "Sure Be Cool If You Did," Lady Antebellum for their fun "Downtown" video, and fast-rising duo Florida Georgia Line for their ever-popular "Cruise." See the list of winner's here.
