Anathema and Alcest Teaming Up For Coheadlining Tour

Anathema will be teaming up with Alcest to launch a North American headline tour in September that will feature special guest support from the band Mamiffer.

The tour will mark the first time that Anathema will perform at many of the U.S. and Canadian cities they are scheduled to hit during the month long tour.

The tour is set to kick off on September 12th in Philadelphia, PA at Underground Arts and will conclude on October 5th in Tempe, AZ at The Marquee.

Anathema will be touring in support of their forthcoming concert film, Universal. The film will be released on September 17th in CD/DVD and Blu-ray.

Universal was directed by photographer/filmmaker Lasse Hoile (Porcupine Tree, Opeth) and was filmed during the band's performance at the ancient Roman theatre of Philippopolis where the band was joined by the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra.
