Arctic Monkeys Announce North American Tour

Arctic Monkeys have announced plans to return to North American this September to launch a new tour in support of the group's forthcoming album.

The tour will be kicking off in Toronto on September 15th and will include stops in several major markets and will also see the band performing at this year's Austin City Limits Festival.

As we reported yesterday, the band have announced that they will be releasing their new studio album, entitled "AM," on September 10th in North America.

The 11-track album was produced by James Ford and co-produced by Ross Orton and was engineered by Ian Shea (Coldplay, John Mayer) and mixed by Tchad Blake (Elvis Costello, The Black Keys).

The album also features guest appearances from Josh Homme, Pete Thomas and Bill Ryder Jones.
