On Thursday Michael Jackson's Daughter Paris Hospitalized For Suicide Attempt was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, has been hospitalized for a suicide attempt in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 5. The reported reason for the attempt? Not seeing Marilyn Manson in concert.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Jackson, 15, was rushed to the hospital after a 911 call at 1:15 a.m. for an overdose. A source confirmed to ET that Jackson was upset she couldn't attend the concert featuring Manson, who is playing with Alice Cooper at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheater on June 6.
Jackson's mother, Debbie Rowe, also confirmed to ET that the teen had "a lot going on," and that she had cuts on her wrist. The suicide attempt comes after a cryptic tweet posted to Jackson's Twitter account at 11:26 p.m. EST the night before, in which she quoted the Beatles' "Yesterday":
She Tweeted the lyrics to the iconic song's chorus, "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."
The timing of the incident is certainly less than spectacular for the Jackson family. Her family and concert promoter AEG are currently in a legal battle over Michael Jackson's 2009 death, and Jackson's daughter is a possible witness in the trial, the L.A. Times points out. - more on this story
