Glen Drover Changes Sides in Queensryche Battle

(Classic Rock) Glen Drover, who dropped out of Geoff Tate's Queensryche before a note was played, will make a guest appearance with the other Queensryche on Thursday night.

And even though he wished Tate well when he announced he wouldn't be taking part in his project, the ex-Megadeth guitarist has referred to the lineup led by Todd La Torre as "the real Queensryche."

In November, soon after the sacked singer had revealed his new band, Drover told fans he wouldn't take part after all, saying: "I was very excited about doing this gig initially, but learned in the past week or so that it's in my best interest not to do this right now. I sincerely wish Geoff and the band all the luck on what they do in the future."

Now he's said via Twitter: "Going up onstage with the REAL Queensryche to play Take Hold Of The Flame this Thursday at the Phoenix in Toronto. Going to be fun stuff!" more on this story
