Arctic Monkeys are hard at work recording their new album in the United States with an eye towards releasing it this year.NME spoke with drummer Matt Helders about the project and when fans can expect it, "There's no time deadlines or anything like that for release. We're just getting back into it, because it always takes a while to get back into it."
Helders was also asked what the album will sounds like and he responded, "2013." He was then asked if that meant the album will definitely be out by the end of the year and he responded, "Well, we'd be stupid if we made a 2013 album and released it next year."
