Michael Jackson's Family Wants $40 Billion

Michael Jackson's mother and his 3 children are seeking in excess of $40 billion from AEG Live for the death of the singer, according to TMZ.

The gossip site obtained legal docs which reportedly document the amount of money the family want from the company for its alleged negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray.

Jackson's children Prince, Paris, Blanket and his mother Katherine are seeking $10 billion each in compensation for the estimated future earning Michael would have made had he not died and are seeking an additional $50 million for various other damages.

AEG Live reportedly claims that the $40 billion amount is out of line and the damage claim is based on rank speculation, according to the report.
